Writing content can be fun and rewarding, but it can also be time consuming and frustrating. When writing original content it is important to remember a few things to help engage your readers.


1 – The title needs to tell the readers exactly what they are going to be reading but in a way that grabs their attention. For example: If you write an article about new shoes you could just name the article “new shoes”, but not many people are going to get excited about reading an article with that title. I am sure if you think for a minute you can come up with a better title, how about “New gel insole shoes prevent back pain”.


2 – Give them what they want early on, if a reader starts reading an article and doesn’t see the content he/she is looking for right away he/she will most likely click away. So try to get their attention right away with quality content from the beginning.


3 – Work your product into the content in a subtle way so it is not a blatant sales pitch to avoid turning your article into a high pressure sales pitch that chases your readers away.
